We were dispatched to Canadian Tire Motorsport Park to put some of the famed German brand’s latest through their paces on an auto cross course as well as Mosport’s full-scale big track.
Now available in Canada starting at $163,300, the latest GT3 has been extensively lightened with a power-to-weight ratio of just 2.86 kg/hp thanks to it 4.0-litre, “boxer” six-cylinder engine with
Porsche’s latest 911 GT3 is good for the road and track with 500 hp and a 0-100 km/h time of 3.4 seconds.
But a chance to be a passenger in a race-spec Porsche 911 GT3 with a professional race driver at the wheel . . . now, that is a rare treat.
