On the track: There really is no way a '92 Integra should smoke a Corvette. And yet ...

So there’s a match coming up between a full-race Corvette and a ’92 Integra. You’ve got $500 to put down on one of the cars. Which one do you go with?

Should be a no-brainer, says Wheels writer Ian Law.

“There really is no way a ’92 Integra should be able to beat a Corvette,” he says.

But here’s the thing: Law was driving that ’92 Integra at the CASC GT sprint championships in Shannonville last weekend, and he did beat the Corvette.

“I set up a pass … with my GT4 ’92 Integra,” Law says. “The Vette driver tries to repass me a the end of the straight only to spin off track in front of me.”

Of course, Law teaches advanced driving courses and always advocates the virtues of patience, focus and expert training. They certainly paid off here! Watch the video, below.

Free tickets: Log on to www.casc.on.ca to learn more about the racing or to get free tickets for any of the events. Most races take place at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park through to September.
