Kia Motors Canada has announced the latest initiative in its ongoing support of Special Olympics Canada with the launch of the Kia Canada Special Olympics Mobility Program.
A first-of-its-kind national transportation-based program, the Kia Canada Special Olympics Mobility Program will enable Canadian Special Olympics athletes, coaches, staff and volunteers to participate in even more incredible Special Olympics community programming.
Individuals with intellectual disabilities and their loved ones face challenges, both big and small, every single day. Through its ongoing partnership with Special Olympics Canada, Kia Canada has recognized reliable transportation as a challenge they could help alleviate for families across the country.
Through its new Mobility Program, Kia Canada is generously providing funding for the rental of Kia vehicles by way of local Enterprise Rent-a-Car locations.
These vehicles will be available to Special Olympics Chapters throughout Canada in all provinces, with the exception of Yukon and NWT.
Running from October through December of this year, the Kia Canada Special Olympics Mobility Program will offer 2,600 days’ worth of Kia vehicle rentals to be used by local Special Olympics Chapters throughout every province and territory in Canada.
