Jeep Announces Wrangler Rubicon Recon
Returns featuring heavy-duty rock rails, aggressive 33-inch mud terrain tires and powerful 2.0-litre engine with eTorque mild hybrid assist.
Jeep is returning the Wrangler Rubicon Recon edition to the iconic SUV’s lineup and equipping it with the powerful and efficient 2.0-litre turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine with eTorque mild hybrid technology.
The Recon edition is based on the Wrangler Rubicon and features unique exterior and interior content.
The 2020 Jeep Wrangler lineup sees the return of the popular Rubicon Recon edition and marks the first time it is available on the newest generation Jeep Wrangler (JL).
Inside the cabin, Rubicon Recon models feature a Jeep trail bag, red seat belts and PUR-wrapped mid bolsters featuring red accent stitching.
All Wrangler Rubicon Recon models feature next-generation Dana front and rear heavy-duty axles, enhanced off-road rock rails and the Rock-Trac NV241 two-speed transfer case with a 4.0:1 low-range gear ratio.
Wrangler Rubicon Recon also includes electric front and rear locking differentials, a disconnecting front sway bar and 33-inch Falken Wildpeak Mud-Terrain tires, taking the Wrangler to the highest level of capability.
The Wrangler Rubicon Recon edition will be offered in Black, Granite Crystal, Sting-Gray, Billet Silver, Ocean Blue, Sarge, Bikini, Firecracker Red, Punk’n, Hellayella and Bright White.
