Honda Insight earns 5-Star Safety Rating
The 2019 Honda Insight has received 5-Star ratings in every category evaluated by the U.S. National Highway Safety Administration.
Honda Insight has received a 5-Star Overall Vehicle Score, the top available safety rating in the U.S. government’s New Car Assessment Program (NCAP).
Insight was also recently awarded a U.S. Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) Top Safety Pick+ rating, the institute’s top award.
All 2019 Insights are equipped with the Honda Sensing suite of active safety and driver assistive features as standard equipment.
Insight’s standard Honda Sensing helps provide greater awareness of driving conditions around the vehicle, in some cases helping drivers maintain lane position, and, under certain conditions, is capable of slowing or even stopping the vehicle if it detects a potential front collision.
Comprising the Honda Sensing suite are Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) with Forward Collision Warning; Road Departure Mitigation (RDM) incorporating Lane Departure Warning (LDW); Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC).
