The Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame (CMHF) has announced the nine men to be inducted into the Hall at a black-tie gala ceremony and dinner in Toronto on February 10, 2007.

The Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame (CMHF) has announced the nine men to be inducted into the Hall at a black-tie gala ceremony and dinner in Toronto on February 10, 2007. They come from a variety of racing disciplines and will be recognized for outstanding accomplishments and contributions to Canadian racing.

The 2006 inductees include motorcycling’s Alec Bennett, rally stalwarts John Bird and Bruce Simpson, John Duff of oval and racing renown, boat racing’s Lorne Liebel and road racer Ted Powell in the Competitor category. The latter also shares the limelight with drag racing’s Bob Atchison, plus Dan Marisi and Jacques Dallaire in the Builders group.
