If you have ever heard of Engel and Völkers, you know they are not your average real estate brokerage. They specialize in the sale and rental of premium residential properties, aircrafts, and yachts. With over 590 locations in 36 countries, Engel and Völkers brokers all over the world dedicate themselves to the high-class lifestyle… which they solidified in Toronto when they recently showcased some of the sexiest cars in the world for their Toronto Uptown grand opening.
On Tuesday, September 22nd (2015), Engel & Völkers held their Toronto Uptown grand opening party at Trump Residences in downtown Toronto. The penthouse on the 55th floor was filled with clients, friends, and real estate agents dressed to the nines. Guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres such as fresh oysters, a live piano player and violinist, had cocktails on the house. If anyone needed fresh air, they enjoyed the breeze and an amazing view of Toronto from one of the best balconies in the city. Everything at this party down to the napkins was specifically picked to reflect the Engel & Völkers high-end brand… especially the cars.
Parked outside of the Trump lobby were a Pagani, a McLaren, a Rolls Royce Phantom and a crowd of Torontonians stopped on the street to take photos. Although Engel & Völkers does not sell cars, inviting these 3 beauties to their party was a nice touch and was the perfect expression of their brand.
The Pagani Huayra has a twin-Turbo, V12, Mercedes-AMG M158 engine. With over 730 horsepower, the Huayra has been said to go from 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds. This was the clear show stopper of the event.
The McLaren 650S Spider has a twin-Turbo, dry sump, 90 degree V8 engine. It’s 641 horsepower allows it to go from 0-100km per hour in 3.0 seconds.
The (2015) Rolls Royce Phantom has a 6.7 litre, V12 engine. Rolls Royce claims the sedan can go 0-60 miles per hour (96.5 km) in under 6 seconds. Pretty impressive considering the car weighs about 5,800 pounds… I suppose we should thank the 453 horsepower for that.
The Pagani Huayra, the McLaren 650S Spider, and the Rolls Royce Phantom were the perfect touch for the Engel and Volkers event. They sat facing the streets of Toronto pulling people in from all angles. The warm lights of the Trump bounced off of the perfectly buffed paint job on each car. The exclusivity and elegance of each of these cars complimented the Engel & Völkers brand flawlessly.
