King of the monsters: 2013 Nissan GT-R Premium

Post a commentAlthough it is a technical marvel from it's dual clutch transmission to it's 6cylinder twin turbo....I can't bring myself to spend that amount of money on a Nissan. If power is all i'm looking for, I might as well buy a Toyota Supra and modify it to an almost 1000hp and be done with it. I prefer to get all that plus the heritage, history and prestige of the manufacturer. Before I bought my weekend car, I considered every car that got my attention. And, the GT-R was on my short list. I took it for a test drive, talked to people that owns one and my verdict was....There was plenty power, addictive power, power that makes you smile everytime you stomp on the gas. Handling was good, tons of grip but.....It never made me lust for it, never made me look for corners nor made me feel that all i can do is drive it all day long. Interior was so, so...you'd never guess that it was a 100k+ car when your in it, that to me had a feeling that i got conned in paying for something that was half it's value. In the end, I bought a 2012 Porsche 911 GTS. It had all what i was looking for and It made me sad everytime i have to park it. I can drive it all day and never ever want the time to end. Not as fast as the GTR but it made feel all happy, content and that I owned a piece of history that is Porsche.
