Post a commentThe Impala is a nice, if dated, car - it does what it is supposed to do. The Mercury Marquis was the last of the "land yachts" - drove one from San Francisco to New Orleans and back (out via El Paso and back via Pueblo, CO) - never missed a beat and worked just the same at sea level (New Orleans) as it did at 12000 feet (Monarch Pass, CO)! The Chrysler 300C is my favourite - across the Rockies and back from Vancouver, BC. Never even noticed cylinder deactivation and reactivation and the auto gearbox was the best yet. Hopefully I'll get to drive one this year before they all disappear!!
