SPECIAL TO THE STAR
British Columbia's Bobby Prochnau showed his domination of the 2009 Canadian Enduro Championship last weekend, winning both rounds at Parry Sound to complete a perfect victory of all eight rounds of this inauguaral national series.
The 23-year-old Prochnau, from Savona, B.C., used his experience competing at extreme riding events in the U.S. to take command right from the first four races in Western Canada.
Thirty of Canada's top pro riders were able to compete at all of the events because of a joint transportation effort organized by World Enduro Canada (WEC). They were offered discounted motorcycle shipping by Brian Kurtz Trucking and discounted airfares from West Jet.
