Something most of the auto journo's ( or so called) have bought into and never did their due diligence was that a lot of Chrysler's success was not due to Marchionne and his hand picked minions. Many of Chrysler's products hitting the market now were from the prior era and good old Chrysler employees. Not Fiat and definitely not Marchionne. So far this guy has only proven himself with his lips and his attitude. Beware.

Why does everyone keep referring to Chrysler as the #3 US carmaker? Being Italian owned by Fiat, it's no more US than the other foreign carmakers manufacturing in the US such as Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai, Honda, Daimler, Volkswagen etc.

I just hope they learn how to put a lasting paint job on their cars, since about 1960'd it became a "tradition": to see any metallic type paint on Chrysler's products to fail.
