Think you’ve got it bad? Try digging out of this snowfall

Published December 27, 2012

While Toronto area drivers are caught in a morning death grip by a few centimetres of snow, other parts of the world are digging out from under some real snow.

Bulgarian YouTube user IAponeca went outside a few days ago to discover his E36 buried under a substantial snow drift. He was nice enough to set up the camera and shoot a time lapse video of his efforts. In real time it took 10 minutes just to get the driver’s door open and a full hour to dig out the car.

Do you have video of the mess today’s snow has caused on Toronto’s roads? Send a link to the video at wheels@thestar.ca.
