True driving afficianados swear by it: “driving stick,” also known as manual transmission, is the only way to go.
Alas, sales of standard vehicles are losing ground to cars with automatic transmission so drastically that everyone from automakers to car rental agencies to driving schools are dropping the stick as if it were a hot potato.
