Nissan Rogue debuts in Miami

Shown at the recent Miami Auto show, the refreshed 2017 Nissan Rogue features available Motion-Activated Liftgate and available Forward Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection and Intelligent Cruise Control.

A major update to the 2017 Rogue compact CUV was unveiled at the recent the Miami International Auto Show.

The new Rogue features an extensive list of enhancements for the new model year.

These include revised exterior and interior styling, new convenience features such as an available Motion-Activated Liftgate, new available Nissan Safety Shield technologies and the first-ever Rogue Hybrid.

The new Rogue is the latest addition to Nissan’s “Year of the Truck,” joining Armada, Pathfinder and the Titan family of pickups.

Updated styling, convenience, technology and safety features highlight the enhancements to the second generation Rogue.

In addition, a new Rogue Hybrid, the first-ever hybrid powertrain for Rogue, will join the lineup in by the end of 2016.

Updated exterior features include a new, dynamic front-end design with Nissan signature design cues, available Motion-Activated Liftgate.

The new Rogue Hybrid utilizes a compact Lithium-ion battery and electric motor to provide supplementary power through its one-motor/two-clutch system.

The Rogue Hybrid’s advanced 2.0-litre engine and 30kW electric motor, connected to the advanced Xtronic transmission, produces fuel economy3 of up to (US) 33 mpg city, (US) 35 mpg highway and (US) 34 mpg combined (estimated) for front-wheel drive models.

Non-hybrid 2017 Rogue models are equipped with a 170 hp 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine and Xtronic transmission. Both gasoline engine and hybrid powertrain-equipped Rogue models are available with an intuitive All-Wheel Drive system or front-wheel drive.
