Thank God North America has such a dedicated group od researchers and reporters. In their article on the subject they made it clear from the outset they were referring to the shift to larger cars, unlike this mess of pretzel logic..</description>

		<description>Strip the sarcasm out of the article and what you are left with is:
a) Obese people buy larger cars. All of can see this, and the author has nothing but sarcasm to dispute it;
b) Adding weight to a vehicle reduces mileage. Duh. Again, the author only provides sarcasm, has not factual basis to dispute, but complains that statistics cite total car weight, not driver weight.
If this was published in the comics section of the paper, while I don&#039;t find it funny, it would at least be in the right category. What it is doing in the Wheels section is beyond me.</description>
