Kleinburg man clocked at 240 km/h on Hwy. 407: OPP

Ontario Provincial Police have charged a Kleinburg man with stunt racing during a traffic stop on Hwy. 407 near Pine Valley Drive in Vaughan.

Monday at 10:30 p.m., police observed a black Nissan GT-R travelling at about 240 kilometres per hour.

As a result, an 18-year-old man faces charges of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, stunt driving and failure to surrender a driver’s licence.

He is to appear in a Newmarket court May 30.

As a result of the stunt driving charge, the Nissan was towed and impounded for seven days.
