Kids take Ferrari for a joyridePublished April 11, 2013
It’s no big deal, really. Just two young boys, looking – oh maybe nine or 10-ish – taking a six-figure Ferrari F430 Scuderia for a joyride through the streets of Shoba City, near Kerala, India.
A video of this excellent parenting was posted today to YouTube, where it is getting a lot of eyeballs.
The youngsters are shown taking the high-horsepower exotic for several laps on public roads, revving it up to show off to their friends while an adult films the entire escapade.
Mark Pereira of Autoblog Canada noted, “As car enthusiasts, we kinda all wish our parents were this awesome, but as fellow drivers we can’t help but think of the ways this dangerous joyride could’ve gone seriously wrong.”
It is unknown who shot the video, although some clues are presented at the end of the clip when one of the pint-sized drivers returns the car’s keys to an adult.
Watch the video here. (But don’t go getting any ideas. Let your kids wait until they’re at least 16 before you give them the keys to family Ferrari.)
