		<description>The PDF417 symbology was invented by Dr. Ynjiun P. Wang at Symbol Technologies in 1991. (Wang 1993) It is represented by ISO standard 15438.   In 1991 GM Oshawa used these codes to program speedometers to ensure device accuracy on the roads. This symbology is working in place of RFID codes  which Walmart pushed suppliers to in 2000. RFID does work but not when reading a skid load of products each with an RFID Tag. 2D wins hands down and is alot less expensive</description>

		<description>Chrysler knew that introduction of a 5year/50,000 mile power train warranty in the early 60’s would convert profitable customer paid repair parts revenue plus dealer repair department labor charges into potentially huge corporate warranty costs. So Chrysler prudently prepared for the extended warranty by first making true engineering improvements. For example, Chrysler equipped the Torqueflite automatic with a simple transmission fluid filter — example of a no-brainer for which they previously had little incentive. 

G.M. and Ford, and probably AMC were caught by surprise by Chrysler’s move and were forced to respond by lengthening their warranties with no time to backup with engineering changes. Consequently, their warranty claims costs jumped substantially more than did Chrysler’s. That incident was a taste of things to come when Volkswagen, Toyota and Honda began importing cars with reliability as a prime design objective.</description>
