A woman spent half a day in a Texas jail cell for allegedly warning drivers of a speed trap, autoblog.ca reports.
Houston-area resident Natalie Plummer was riding her bike on the way home from the grocery store and noticed police were pulling over speeders with what looked like a speed trap. She decided to make a warning sign out of her shopping bag.

Plummer was then arrested for allegedly standing in the street when there was a sidewalk present. Plummer tells local news that she never left the sidewalk, and she claims that the arresting officer threatened her with an arrest for obstructing justice, which is a felony offence.
