I checked the language on the electronic billboard and yup, I was right. In Saudi Arabia, the bored young men have a sport called "drifting" where they gather on stretches of road outside towns and do (and from the sidelines, watch) all kinds of stunts with their cars: side wheelies, side skids and so on. Occasionally someone loses control, and people have been hit and killed by an out-of-control car. One "drifter" was actually recently beheaded for killing an onlooker that way. It stayed in its own lane for over a hundred meters and only hit the curb once and didn't cut anyone off, ....... unlike the guy that cut me off on Hurontario last night that I missed by inches, no thanks to him.
