Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, Viper, Lotus, Audi R8 – we’ve all seen the pictures and been seduced by the drop-dead beauty of these exotic autos.
That’s about as close as most of us will ever get to one of them.
Unless you happen to be in Brampton on Sunday. In which case you could get to drive an exotic car (or several!) and help a worthwhile charity at the same time.
The 7th annual Exotic Car Ride Charity event will be held Sunday, June 2, at the Powerade Centre in Brampton, and will offer the opportunity to drive a Viper, Ferrari, Porsche, Corvette, Lotus, Cobra, Lamborghini and more, all graciously dontated by their owners to help raise money for the James Fund.
From noon to 5 p.m., you can have a ?ride at speed? around an actual Autoslalom course set out on the expansive parking lots of the Powerade Centre at 7575 Kennedy Rd. S (go to? poweradecentre.com for directions), which donated the use of the facility for the day.
Your minimum $20 donation per ride goes directly to the James Fund. This organization undertakes research at the Hospital for Sick Children looking for a cure for Neuroblastoma, a cancer occurring in children under 9 years of age
