This list of the 10 most frequently stolen luxury cars, released by the U.S. insurance crime bureau and featured on cars.com, shows that Mercedes-Benz is like catnip to car thieves.
The German automaker has three of the top 10 most-stolen luxury models in the U.S., with the C-Class taking the No. 1 spot with 485 thefts from Jan. 1, 2009, through Dec. 31, 2012. The Benz’s E-class and S-Class take the fourth and tenth spot, respectively.
