LONDON, ONT.—Provincial police say a London man escaped injury when the delivery truck he was driving had its roof sheared off.

The man was driving on Road 145 south of Highway 8 in Perth County north of London when the truck struck the bottom of a rail overpass.

The roof of the box got torn off and the rear door was ripped off the back of the truck.

Police say the man wasn’t injured and told officers that he was following the route set out by his GPS.
