For you they built the monster Ute’s. You know, the Expedition, Suburban things. You can haul lots of bodies and golf bags in one of them. That is if you truly don’t care about the price of gas. Or more importantly the effect of those leviathans on the environment.

Underpowered? When equipped with what engine? The 2.0 L base or the 1.4T? Because although they have the same HP figure, the Fiat 1.4T Multi-Air engine that is used puts out almost 40 more pound feet of torque which makes a large difference. And it’s much better on fuel. Like John already mentioned, “underpowered” cars equipped with manual transmissions couldn’t be further from underpowered.

Isn’t the Dart the largest in the compact class? Probably heaviest also yes? It’s riding class median specs with more work to do, looks like CR has a case here. I still have yet to see a Dart on the road even if the numbers prove ppl are buying them… personally I don’t like the Ford Escort exterior (esp back end) nor its typical chunky Chrysler centre module & buttons. But it has Tom Brady?!

Whats really sad is the car makers failure to make a decent sized sedan for those of us who like to travel in style and comfort. Not everyone is worried about the price of gas. I’d also like a sedan that you can put more than one golf bag in the trunk. Another failure by North America car makers.

I guess every car in Europe is underpowered for Americans. Anything that doesn’t do 0-60 in under 9 seconds is slow? Really? Learn to keep your momentum up in a corner and buy a manual transmission and I’m sure all will be fine. Geeeeeez.
