The problem is that most ppl are too stupid to realize there is an Imperial MPG and a metric MPG, so that is why MPG is no longer used primarily..

Imperial Gallon: 3.78L
Metric: 4.02L

Could be reversed but thats the gist of it, I'm happy my small block supercharged v6 gets 7.4L/100km on the highway and 14L when im really on it unleashing those 400ft/lbs.. will be buying this new corvette at the 2-3 year used mark.
