Cheeky Tesla vanity plate sticks it to oil producing nations

This clever vanity licence plate was spotted in a parking lot in Napa Valley, California.

Look closely – that’s an electric Tesla Roadster. See? It’s plugged in.

The licence plate – an irreverent dig at the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries – indicates that the owner has a sense of humour, if not much of a sense of where the electricity to recharge his car probably comes from.

I wonder if some day there’s going to be OLEC – Organization of Lithium-Exporting Countries.
