I will be renting a car in Florida while on vacation there, and just wonder if the car rental companies will be snapping up deals with the flood damaged cars, as this would of course increase their profits.
Is there a law preventing them doing this.?odgebi another

blah blah blah, we heard this after Katrina as well, especially with boats. All the crackerjack instant geniuses figured that if you got a deal it had to be "a Katrina boat". Of course these geniuses had failed to notice that the economy in the US was in the tank, again, and people were dumping boats to get out from under. But even if your boat had never been off the Great Lakes, for sure you were getting screwed with a Katrina boat. Love these wizards who buy anything that is spewed by local business with an axe to grind, especially when it's defending their high prices. Use your head, do your due diligence and don't listen to idiots.
