This month, dozens of auto reviewers drove to St. Catharines to drive dozens of vehicles to ultimately choose the AJAC Canadian Car of the Year and the Utility Vehicle of the Year for 2013.
79 reviewers, all qualified members of the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada, judged 60 different vehicles to determine the best in each category. Of those class-winning vehicles, three will be shortlisted as contenders for Car of the Year, and another three as Utility Vehicle of the Year.
Below are the 11 winners deemed the best car of their respective categories. The Canadian Car of the Year and Utility Vehicle of the Year will be announced at the Canadian International AutoShow in Toronto next February.
