Pretty much everything Ron Howard puts his directorial hands on turns to movie gold. So we were expecting great things of his upcoming Formula 1 movie “Rush.” Even movie buffs who aren’t into racing are expecting great things of “Rush.”

Because it’s got the bones of a great movie and because the trailers — a third has just been released (video below) — are giving us the heebie-jeebies, but in a good way.

The story covers the infamous 1970s rivalry between Britain’s handsome playboy James Hunt (played by Chris Hemsworth) and Austria’s brilliant, methodical Niki Lauda (Daniel Bruhl), CarBuzz reports. Focusing on these two very different personalities and racing drivers, the movie promises something for everyone, including drama, romance, jealous rivalries, tension — oh, and cars. Definitely cars.

But it’s the epic race scenes, shot in the U.K., Germany and Austria, that will have us lining up when the movie opens on September 27. This has the potential to be the greatest car racing flick ever made.

Check out the full-length trailer below and start getting excited.
