Believe it or not, as a dealer I've actually had countless people try to get out of contracts by claiming the death of a breadwinner or other family member, none of which was at all verifiable. I've even had people tell me they'd suffered a death in the family "back home" in another country that would cause them to be unable to pick up the car! However that being said, if the death were verifiable and being the contract buyer of the vehicle it's perfectly reasonable of the dealership to cancel the contract and, if there were exceptional circumstances (eg, shipping the vehicle in from a distant dealership at their expense) deduct damages from the deposit and return the balance to the family members.

Cruise control is the best thing since sliced bread. I drive a Subaru WRX and it likes to go......so to keep within the speed limit, I engage the cruise control both in town and on the highway, provided that the traffic is light to moderate. This saves me in fuel costs, as well as avoiding any speeding tickets. There are those pundits who will say, "Oh, but you might fall asleep with the cruise control engaged" My answer is simply, do not drive if you are that tired. So, the use of cruise control will save you money in fuel, as well as a possible brush with the law.

I kinda find this whole inking deal to be absurd.
I had issues when the dealership signed a contract with me for a specific car only to realize that they made an error after I signed and they refused to sell me that car. The problem was the car had the same color, same year, model etc...but the car that I was gonna buy had low mileage compared to the other car. The dealership clearly made an error and after it was signed backed away from it.

Many years ago my wife's aunt bought a new GM car from the dealer here in Oshawa. The deal was set and she returned home and passed away. The family was shocked of course and days later returned to the dealer with the story. The thought maybe the deal could be cancelled. The dealer played hardball. No deal. As I recall they just sold the car privately.
Taking a look at it years later, that family, friends and my family have bought many cars. Guess what? Not from that dealer. So in the long run they probably lost money in not playing fairly with the family.
